Hot dip galvanized coil
Overview
Hot dip galvanizing refers to the process of applying a protective zinc coating on steel plates or iron sheets to prevent rusting. Due to the fact that all hard steel is pickled and then rolled through a zinc pot process, a zinc film is applied to the surface of the steel plate. Afterwards, hot-dip galvanized steel coils (GI) were produced. Hot dip galvanized steel coil is a popular type of steel with high corrosion resistance, paint resistance, and processability. It is often widely used in various industries and departments. Cumic is determined to supply cost-effective galvanized steel coils in China.
Product characteristics
Due to the self sacrificial nature of zinc, hot-dip galvanized steel coils have excellent performance in corrosion resistance and processability.
Steel manufacturers can choose and produce the required amount of gold-plated zinc, especially to achieve a thick zinc layer (up to 120g/m2).
